Themed area: Kernie's Dorf
We opened our new themed area, Kernie's Dorf, just in time for the start of the 2024 season. It includes a huge new adventure playground: Villa Lustigheim.
A fairytale world
Of course, this theme area did not come about by chance. Beyond the rainbow, Kernie, Kerna, and the magical blackbird Piep live in their own little village, the new Villa Lustigheim, where they enjoy welcoming friends from all over the world. Kernie and Kerna have lots of friends who regularly visit the Wunderland. They really enjoy their friends' visits because they love having friends over—just as much as they enjoy your visits!
Schnabelpost
When Kernie & Kerna's friends do not visit them in Wunderland, they keep in touch by regularly exchanging letters about their big and small adventures. The Schnabelpost in Kernie's Dorf ensures that the letters are delivered correctly throughout Wunderland. Piep, the magical blackbird, ensures that the letters with the exciting stories always reach Kernie & Kerna on time. Kernie loves these stories and always wishes he could have been there himself. Kernie and Kerna are always happy to receive mail from their friends - including you! Would you like to write Kernie and Kerna a letter? Drop your letter in the green letterbox in front of Kernie's Dorf—Piep will take care of the rest.
Turm der Zeit
The Turm der Zeit, the new clock tower in Kernie's Dorf, was quite a challenge for Kernie & Kerna. Kerna even had to climb on Kernie's shoulders to reach the clock high up in the tower. The clock tower symbolises the wondrous time full of adventure and fun in Kernie's Dorf. Here, you will also find all the latest information about Wunderland and all its attractions. At the Turm der Zeit, you’ll always stay up to date.
Villa Lustigheim
Villa Lustigheim is not only the place where Kernie & Kerna's friends spend the night during their visits but also the ultimate play paradise for children. Here, you can sneak through secret passageways, balance across adventurous bridges and play hide-and-seek in the most colourful interior in Kernie's Dorf. Wunderladen
What would a village be without a village shop? That's why Kernie and Kerna have opened the Wunderladen for all their guests. A treasure chest full of gifts and unique souvenirs of your visit to the Wunderland awaits you here. How will you remember your adventures?
